The Solomon Islands Glow Courtesy of Sue Devitt

Someday, I'd love to visit the Solomon Islands. It sounds like a paradise in the Pacific Ocean!

But until that time comes, I can get a beautiful, healthy glow as if I had just visited the beautiful Solomon Islands thanks to Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye and Cheek Palette in Solomon Islands.
Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye and Cheek Palette in Solomon Islands
Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye and Cheek Palette in Solomon Islands is my favourite blush/highlighter of the moment! It's a blend of coral, pinks and bronze hydrating mineral powders made with sea minerals and hyaluronic acid to deliver moisture to the skin. These ingredients give the powders longevity and a slight cooling effect when applied to your face.

Each colour swatched

All 4 colours blended together,  Just the Pinks blended together

Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye and Cheek Palette in Solomon Islands is so versatile. I personally love swishing my brush around in all 4 colours first and applying it to my cheeks for an all over rosy bronze glow. Then I like dipping my brush just in the pinks and adding that to the apples of my cheeks. Beautiful! You can also use all of these colours as eyeshadows. Wouldn't this palette be great to take for a tropical vacation? It sure does make you look like you just came back from one!!

Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye and Cheek Palette in Solomon Islands lasts all day on my cheeks too. It has great staying power.

I'm really loving the few things I've tried from Sue Devitt. You can purchase Sue Devitt Cosmetics in Canada from The Shopping Channel.

  1. The colors look beautiful when blended all together! When you say it provides a cooling effect, does that mean it's like MAC's Villainous villains collection Magically Cooling powder?

  2. @N--Hey N! Not quite as colloing as the MAC one, but you notice it-more like a moisturizing cool of that makes sense.
This is honestly my favourite blush right now-and I own a lot of blush lol!

  5. LOL! I'm gradually shifting into the blushes. Right now, I'm working through a Nars and Benefit one. I'll probably purchase a Chanel one next because I heard that it's perfect for layering. Maybe I will try this one out after Chanel! (Or before...who knows where my funds stand then!)

  6. @N--I've never tried a Chanel blush--I took a peek at the new Pink Tweed one that's out with Chanel's Christmas collection--it's nice, but I have so many pink blushes that I just couldn't justify getting it. You are right that they are good for layering- when I swatched it at the store it's sheer so perfect for that.
