Blush Week!-Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush

I went a little blush crazy this week-I just couldn't help myself! You all know I am a blush fiend who probably could use a blush intervention. Just not real soon, ok? :)

Since I've picked up a few new blushing beauties recently, I thought this week I'd show you them plus a few of my other faves. Blush Week! It's like Shark Week for the blush obsessed. (Ok, it's not a shark pic-but it's a fish with rosy cheeks! How cool is that?)

The first new blush I'd like to share with you during Blush Week! is one that I really wanted to try: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush. My Sephora had them in the back, but a sweet SA pulled them out for me. I love the girls at my Sephora a lot!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes contain natural clay from the Amazon River of course, which gives amazing benefits to the skin. The clay minimizes oil in and around pores to keep the blush in place, but also has hydrating properties and helps keep moisture in place and reduce dry patches and flakiness (hello that's me!) if you have dry skin. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush is a blush that is supposed to balance your skin and because of that it wears longer and better.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes are some pigmented blushes I tell you! I love pigmented blushes because a little goes a long way and they just last forever and ever, amen! Also, pigmented blushes are the way to go if you want your blush to last longer.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Natural Beauty looked pretty scary in the pan, but with a light hand and my MAC 187 or any stippling brush, it is a pretty wearable strawberry red colour.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes are truly blushes for every skin tone. The colours are based on Tarte's cheek and lip stains and range from bright pink to coral to berry, so there's bound to be a colour that you love. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Natural Beauty is matte-no sparkles what so ever. It blends oh so easily, and you can build up the intensity to your preference. It also lives up to it's claim-it lasts all day for me.

I highly recommend checking out Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes and picking one up. You will not be disappointed!

  13. I really want this blush! Not all blushes last all day on me. :( NARS lasts all day, maybe Chanel too, but MAC's blushes definitely don't. Great review! Natural Beauty is a nice colour, and so is Tipsy. Maybe I'll get both? :P

  14. @Arianne: Thanks! :) Both sounds good to me! ;)
