Get Bronzed With Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face

I am pale. I've never been able to get a nice tan, so I gave up on that pipe dream years ago. I've been burned to a crisp because nobody used sunscreen back when I was a kid. Now if I forget to wear sunscreen, some hyper-pigmentation I have on my face because of those burns gets darker, so no tanning in the sun allowed for this beauty junkie!

I've tried self-tanners. Some give nice colour, but it's the STINK that I just can't take. Everyone around you knows you've used a self tanner because you SMELL like stinky socks. A lot of them react horribly with my face leaving it greasy and prone to breakouts.
So, I gave up on using self-tanners as well, until I tried Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face.

Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face is the most unique sunless tanner I've ever tried because they've created them for specific skin types: one for oily skin, and one for dry sensitive skin. It's also filled with anti-aging ingredients and antioxidants to help moisturize your face. Since my skin is dry and reactive, I decided to give the dry-sensitive formula a shot.

Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face is a thick and creamy gel-like lotion. It already has some pigment in it which I love, because you can see where you are putting it to make sure you get even and streak-free coverage. It dries and sets really quickly which I also love, but that also means you need to work fast to rub it in. Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face has a very perfumey fragrance, so it didn't STINK horribly at first. I noticed a twinge of smell about 3 hours into the self tanning time, but it was hardly noticeable. YAY!

The next morning I woke up, washed my face off and was left with a really nice light tan! It wasn't orange at all, and the best part was no stink. I've had some self tanners smell for days after I've used them, but not with Beautisol.

One application of Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face gave me a tan that lasted for about 3 days. This is day 4 and I still have a tiny bit of colour left. The other great thing is that the tan is fading evenly. Also, no problems with breakouts or sensitivity either. Win-Win-Win!

I am definitely placing an order today for some more Beautisol Need I Glow More? Self-Tanner For Face. I also think I might try the body tanner as well. Maybe this year I won't have to blind people with my lily white legs!

You can order Beautisol products on their website, www.beautisol.com.

  1. I don't use self tanners since it only takes me a day or two outside to get tanned quickly. Bronzers tide me over in the mean time. So I never knew about the "dirty sock" problem!

  2. @Liz: uggg-I hate the way they smell! This one doesn't! You lucky duck-I just look at the sun and burn.

  3. I am so lazy when it comes to self tanners. Typically I use Jergens or nothing, it's all that staining of hands, clothes, sheets, uneven application, not enough exfoliating, blah blah. I get exhausted just thinking about it...haha. What a whiner eh?

  4. @Tracy D: I know, I'm the same way. I don't mind doing my face, but the rest is a pain. Sometimes I'll do my legs, but not often.
