It's just so darn CUTE!
Cute packaging aside, it's the beauty that's inside that counts, right?

The Tokidoki 24 Karat Skate Deck Palette contains 12 eyeshadows plus an Adios keychain all just in time for Christmas sparkle and gift giving!
Top row swatched(I swatched them right to left-sorry!):

Bottom row swatched(same-swatched right to left on the palette):

Swatched with my finger on my arm these seem quite lovely and pigmented and smooth.
But when used on the eye, they leave a lot to be desired I'm afraid.
Almost every shade has some sparkle to it-major glitter which affects the pigmentation. I know you can't really see the glitter in the swatches, but trust me, it's there. They just don't apply so well-rather sheerly to tell you the truth. And the more glitter the shadow has, the more fallout that incurs. It's almost like the glitter and the shadows don't really meld together, ya' know? They seem separate from each other and it's a little strange.
Here's some looks I created while testing out the Tokidoki 24 Karat Skate Deck Palette.
I do love the gold shade called 24 Karat, and the highlight called Sabbia which is a pretty champagne with some gold sparkle to it. The silver shadow called Stella is the worst offender. It's almost just a glitter and just falls every where. I know the pictures look good and you're thinking I'm being harsh, but trust me, it took a lot of work to get every one to look good. Plus my cheeks were covered in glitter within minutes of finishing application.
Truthfully, I feel the palette is not up to par with the other Tokidoki palettes that have come out and that I've reviewed and loved here and here. I think they tried too hard to be festive and the glitter just overloads and ruins the shadows.
Unless you are an avid collector of the Tokidoki Palettes, my recommendation is to skip this one. Breaks my heart really. Although, if you are a big fan of glitter, then this one is right up your alley.
Have you bought the Tokidoki 24 Karat Skate Deck Palette? What do you think of it?
