Mysterious because BB Creams are an Asian Beauty Product and they have not really been available here. BB stands for Beauty Balm, or Blemish Base, Blemish Balm and Beauty Base. A BB Cream is an all in one face product: Moisturizing skin care, tinted corrector and make-up base all in one.
Now for me, they are also mysterious because I have tried one or two and while I do like them, I really don't see the difference between a BB Cream and a tinted moisturizer. I guess since there are some skin care ingredients in a BB Cream that you would see some long-term benefits to using them? The ones I have tried have been really dewey on my skin and stay a bit tacky feeling unless you put a powder over top. What I do like about BB Creams is that they usually have a high SPF in them. The best way I've found to use them (for myself at least) is to use them under my foundation as a base/primer.

I am supposed to get a sample to try out and hopefully it arrives this week and I will share with you all what I think of it! Just from reading the press release about it, I kind of don't understand why there is no SPF in the product and I find that a little disappointing. But I will reserve judgement until I test it out!
