Lise Watier Aquarella Spring 2012 Collection: The Girl In Black CAN Wear The Pastels In The Aquarella Eyeshadow Quartet

I'm going to be honest: I don't care much for Spring Makeup Collections. There's something about pastels I just don't really care for. Pastel anything just ins't me. My nickname in High School was Johnny Cash. I wore black all the time and since his nickname was The Man In Black-yeah, you get it.

Pastels are just not my thang.

Leave it to Lise Watier to change my mind COMPLETELY.

First, check out the gorgeous packaging of Lise Watier Aquarella!

Isn't it just the prettiest? A work of art I say! Dang Lise Watier, whoever designs your palettes
should get a raise I say!

Today, let's talk about the Aquarella Eyeshadow Quartet, which is $36 CAN.

When I first opened up the Lise Watier's Aquarella Quartet my first thought was:

  I can't wear this.

Swatching it didn't help me either. I still was not confident I could pull this palette off.

I was befuddled. See that? I'm trying to use some new words and expand my vocabulary. :)

WRONG. Oh so wrong.

I didn't know where to start to tell you the truth, because I never use colours like this in my looks. I kind of stood there for a bit. Then I said: Whaddaya, scared of? So, I just dove right in.

AND I COULDN'T STOP! The texture of these shadows is so cool! They're half cream/half powder, so they practically blend by themselves I tell you.

Every combo I tried looked really pretty! So Springy! So Monet! And as you can see, the Aquarella Palette easily takes you from day to night.

Lise Watier has done it again I say! This palette is so very Spring 2012 and right on trend. I never thought I would enjoy a pastel palette, but I do. I really, really do. The girl in black likes pastels. And I think you all will too!

The Lise Watier Aquarella Spring 2012 wil be out mid January to brighten up your wintery days. Get it while you can, since it is limited edition. And stay tuned this week as I show you the rest of this Spring collection!

You can find Lise Watier at Shopper's Drug Marts, and of course online at lisewatier.com.

Are you excited for Spring and all the pastels about to hit the stores?

Disclamer: I was sent this product to review by PR/Company. Love it or leave it, but my review and opinions are my own thoughts and words, thank you very much.
